HAND ON TRAINING ON EARTHEN POT MAKING
Workshop of pottery was conducted in KV 3 campus from 5.12.2023
to 8.12.2023. Sessions of 1.5 hour per day were taken up by Sh. Manoj Prajapati, kilagate Gwalior. Work shop was organized for
class 6 th , 7 th & 8 th class students. These students have been given training to make small toys, diyas. Glass, bowl, saucer etc, using clay.
Students tried to make pots with the help of potter. They have enjoyed the session of each day. Potter has given chance to every
child to work with him. He also did addition clay work on prepared pots. Student also learnt this art too. Students of all classes attended
this work shop with their teachers and enjoyed how clay can be shaped in different articles. They were really happy to learn clay art
and very enthuastic to make clay pots.
21 st Century Skills
Topic 21st century skills was taken up by two guests in school conference room on 21st November to 23rd November 2023. On 21.11.2023. the session was taken up by Ms Richa Sharma from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm She has taken expert lecture on Internet of things where she has depicted various models like moisture sensor system, smart irrigation system, obstacle detection robot car, smart dustbin, smart solar system, door lock system etc. She has introduced IOT in a very lucid and engaging manner. The career prospects in the field of IOT and the preliminary was covered which has given various Insights to the students. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session.
Another session of 21 st century skills was organized on 22.11.2023 and 22.11.2023 from 12.00 to 2.00 pm in school conference room,session was taken up by Ms Monika Chauhan Bhadoria her topic was Big data. In her lecture she has covered handling of big data, big data analystics,it decribed the process of uncovering trends, patterns and correlation in laege amount of raw data to help make data –informed decisions. In second day session she covered artificial intelligence AI & ML in industry 4.0. Examples of top 5 humaoid robots. Skills for success in AL and ML. All three sessions of 21 st
century skills were taken very effectively by the experts. Students have benefitted well. They enjoyed activity based sessions and got knowledge of many advanced thing.
